Simple Friday Fish Takes Culinary Flight






Taken on Friday, April 28, 2017, in the evening, the first in their Candid Cooking video series, Venice Sighs and Roma Borghese set out to transform a common Midwestern Friday fish dinner into a memorable gourmet-restaurant flavored meal! Typically, the sisters will survey what's in the frig and go from there.




This time it was fish, veggies, and pasta, the fish fillets turned into a delectable main course with a special secret mayonnaise and mustard topping, the pasta shells made uber tasty with Parmesan cheese from a local Italian specialty store, The Sausage Kitchen, spinach, Bulgarian feta, and fresh basil and oregano from her spring herb garden.







The meal was garnished with homemade coleslaw and a taste of Sicilian pasta fagioli and asparagus patties provided by the Italian matriarch of a family friend.
